Amiakum warerfall is a beautiful waterfall located in Bandarban. This waterfall is known for its pristine beauty and serene atmosphere making it a popular destination for nature lovers.

Description:

It is a popular tourist destination known for its peaceful surroundings cystal clear ater and refreshing mist that cascades down from the top of the waterfall. The waterfall is situated in the midst of a dense forest and to reach the waterfall visitors must trek through a scenic trail surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees. The waterfall from a height of about 100 feet creating a large pool at the bottom where visitors can take a refreshing dip. The waterfall is also a great place for picnics with many shaded spots and seating areas. Their few small shops and restaurants are welcoming the visitors at the base of Amiakum waterfall.

How to visit:

To visit Amiakum waterfall first we reach Bandarban district.

So here we start our traveling from Dhaka, we can reach directly Bandarban by bus or we can go to Chattogram by bus or train or Plane.

So, we chose the bus for our direct destination Bandarban, there too many buses company like Hanif, Shayamoli, S. Alam, and Sanmartin have direct service to Bandarban for the Arambag bus stand. Which costs around 800 to 2000 BDT per person. It’s about 320 km from Dhaka and takes around 8-9 hours.

Best time for traveling is the night because you can fall asleep and never feel tired in the early morning the bus reaches Bandarban bus stand, and from Bandarban town, you need to hire a local guide and take local bus for Amiakim waterfall when you reach near base of waterfall to trek through a scenic trail surrounded by dense forest to reach the waterfall. The trek can take an hour to reach the ground of Amiakum waterfall.
