Boga Lake is a one of the most famous lake in Bangladesh. It is situated in the most popular tourist destination called Bandarban. Its stunning beauty is earned the nickname “The Blue Gem of Bangladesh”.

It is a natural Lake and is believed to have been formed by a landslide that occurred several thousand years ago. The water of the Lake is crystal clear and has a blue-green hue that changes with the sunlight and weather.

Boga Lake is a popular destination for hiking, trekking, and camping enthusiasts, as there are several trails that lead to the lake. The journey of Boga Lake is challenging but the picturesque scenery and natural beauty make it all worth it.

The lake is also considered sacred by the local indigenous communities and they believe that the lake is a home of spirit or deity. The visitors also respect their beliefs.

How to visit:

First, To visit Nafa-Kum Jhorna we have to reach Bandarban district.

So here we start our traveling from Dhaka, we can reach directly Bandarban by bus or we can go to Chattogram by bus or train or Plane.

So, we chose the bus for our direct destination Bandarban, there too many buses company like Hanif, Shayamoli, S. Alam, and Sanmartin are has direct service to Bandarban for the Arambag bus stand. Which is cost around 800 to 2000 BDT per person. It’s about 320 km from Dhaka and takes around 8-9 hours.

The best time for traveling is the night because you can fall asleep and never feel tired in the early morning the bus reaches Bandarban bus stand, and from Bandarban town, you need to hire a guide or local tour operator to take you to Boga Lake. The guide will help you for transportation and provide information about the lake.

Finally, to reach Boga Lake you need to trek for around 3-4 hours through the hills and forests. The trek is a bit challenging but the beauty of the lake of heeling the challenges and difficulties.
