Rijuk Jhorna is a picturesque natural attraction located in the Bandarban district. It is a multi-layered waterfall cascading down from a height of 300 feet in several stages. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing island in the cool and clear waters of the pool at the base of the waterfall or take a walk along the rocky riverbed. In Rijuk Jhorna visitors can take a short hike through the forest, which can be a bit challenging but is well worth the effort.

How to visit:

To visit Rijuk Jhorna first we reach Bandarban district. So here we start our traveling from Dhaka, we can reach directly Bandarban by bus or we can go to Chattogram by bus or train or Plane.

So, we chose the bus for our direct destination Bandarban, there too many buses company like Hanif, Shayamoli, S. Alam, and Sanmartin are has direct service to Bandarban for the Arambag bus stand. Which is cost around 800 to 2000 BDT per person. It’s about 320 km from Dhaka and takes around 8-9 hours.

The best time for traveling is the night because you can fall asleep and never feel tired in the early morning the bus reaches Bandarban bus stand, and from Bandarban town, you can hire rental jeep or taxi to take you the starting point of Rijuk Jhorna. The starting point of Rijuk Jhorna is about 25 km from the Bandarban town and the road is quite bumpy and steep slippery.

Finally, when you reach the starting point of Rijuk Jhorna you need to take a hike of 1-2 hours to see the actual waterfall the hike trip is quite difficult but after seeing the warefall it will forget the all difficulties.
