Nilachol hill is a breathtaking natural wonder located in the district of Bandarban. Also known as Blue Mountain, Nilachol hills is the most visited destination by tourists coming from home or abroad.

Description:

Nilachol Hill is a picturesque hill located in the hill district Bandarban which is in the southeastern part of Bangladesh. The hill is called blue mountain after the name of the trees grown on the hill during monsoon whose leaves are blue.

The hill is located about 5 kilometers away from Bandarban town and can be accessed by local transport or foot.

At the top of the hill, there is a temple called the Nilachol Mahaprabhu Krishna Mandir.

In addition, there is a small waterfall called Jadipai waterfall located near Nilachol hill which is a popular tourist spot.

How to visit:

To visit Nilachol hill tourist spot first we reach Bandarban district.

So here we start our traveling from Dhaka, we can reach directly Bandarban by bus or we can go to Chattogram by bus or train Plane.

So, we chose the bus for our direct destination Bandarban, there too many buses company like Hanif, Shayamoli, S. Alam, and Sanmartin are has direct service to Bandarban for the Arambag bus stand. Which is cost around 800 to 1600 BDT per person.

The best time for traveling is the night because you can fall asleep and never feel tired in the early morning the bus reaches Bandarban bus stand, and from Bandarban town, we can hire local transport like a taxi or auto-rickshaw to reach Nilachol hill. It is located about 5 kilometers away from Bandarban town, when we reach the Nilachol hill spot its recommended to hire a guide who can visit around the reach you to the spots. From the base of Nilachol hill, it took 30 minutes to reach the hilltop. The trek is quite steep and Challenging.

Finally, It’s very important to remind that the time to visit Nilachol hill is during the dry season because in heavy rain the trek is more difficult and dangerous.
